We have five hacker houses in Oxford, England, a 40 minute train from London.

Absolutely not. Although many of our members are affiliated with the university, this is not a requirement for membership. Among our members are graduates, undergrads from other cities, and high school dropouts.

Our next programme starts in September 2023. Rolling applications are now open. We are flexible.

No, this is not a pre-requisite: many HomeDAO members are at pre-idea stage when they join, since a large part of living in HomeDAO is designed to help with ideation and building out your MVP.

There are no costs to joining HomeDAO beyond accommodation etc. We can in some cases subsidise living costs such as housing and utilities for pre-idea founders. We also offer support in the form of capital and mentorship to founders hoping to raise money.

We want to make sure that everyone who would benefit from being in HomeDAO can join, regardless of their financial circumstances.
